Realme teased a brand-new product line that will be called Note. Later, a leak revealed that the Realme Note 1 is on its way to compete with the and , which have an OLED screen and big battery with fast charging.

The Realme Note 1 is expected to launch in January 2024, and the front panel will be a 6.67" OLED with Full HD+ resolution and up to 120 Hz refresh rate. It will also have an under-display fingerprint scanner and a 16 MP front-facing camera.

Speaking of cameras, there will be three on the back — 108 MP + 8MP + 2 MP, and the whole device will be powered by a Dimensity 7050 chipset. The battery is listed as having a 5,000 mAh capacity and 67W wired charging.

Looking at these specs, it appears the Realme Note 1 will be an alternative to the Realme 11 Pro with one extra camera. Apparently, the phone will aim to fill the tiny void between the and in an already overcrowded midrange market and to provide a compromise to consumers not willing to splurge for a Pro+ handset.

There is also the chance to position an 11 Pro-tier phone as a more affordable alternative to the duo that is arriving later this month.

The possibilities are endless, and we have to wait for the announcement to learn the real intentions of the Realme brand and its new Note lineup — a totally original name also used by Samsung, Xiaomi, vivo, Lenovo, Infinix, Meizu, and Ulefone.
